overheating
Hi,
I have a 1986 RX-7 gxl. When I turn on the air condition and drive for about thirty minutes(Not driven hard) the temp gage goes up about 3/4 of the way. I wanted to know if that is going to be a major problem. Do any of you guys know what can be the problem. When I leave the air condtion off it doesnt do it but its hard not to use it because of the heat in arizona. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
John
P.S. I dont know much about cars

My turboII used to heat up excessively when i used the air conditioning in traffic. Just keep an eye on the temp guage, if it starts to go above half, turn off the a/c. When i put in my electric fan, it helped a bunch. Sometimes in my 323 i have to turn my heater on to keep the temps down. Which really sucks, but its better than warping the head. Luckily it takes a really really hot day to get the 323 too warm.
