I am going to pull an engine and I am going to buy a 1 ton crane from harbor freight.
I was wondering where I can get the chain that hooks up to the engine and the crane (pep boys? napa?)?

its doesnt come with a chain? if not just buy and steel chain with a hook, make sure the weight rating is enough. NAPA might have it, check sears or online somewhere that sells cherry pickers

harbor frieght should have a load leveler too, if not i would guess they should have a chain too. if not then i know the home depot racing dep't has bulk chain.

there is a chain and hook attached to the crane but looking at other ppl's pics, there is another chain with u-bolts attached where the chain connects to the crane hook and the u-bolts attach to points on the engine.

like i said, look at harbor frieght for a load leveler or engine lift chain, just about any auto parts store should carry them as well. a simple standard chain would work as well.
