Original price of a 90 TII??

I was looking through the owners manual of my 90 TII and I found the original sales reciept for the vehicle. the original owner paid a little over $30k for the car. It was $38,400 after all fees and crap. Does that sound really high? I didnt think these cars cost that much new. Anyone know?

Strange, i thought the most expensive rx7s in the US were the 91 verts with all the options and sold for 31k at most. I'm not sure why it would be 38,000 that seems awful high for a 200hp car in 1990

Ah Hah... I figured it out... Ok, base price for the TII was $24250 - Then the Leather seats, and cd player/EQ were optional. Mine got both of those.. Thats why it was so damn expensive
