Optima Battery Choices?

Ok everyone, I need help once again, go figure. Well I am currently on the summit racing site looking at optima batteries. If any of you have any other online distributers I would like to compare prices. However, the real question is what "style" battery I should get? There are three choices on the summit site: a high power out put 870 amp one, a 750 amp one, and a 12.8V 750 amp one. I am just wondering witch one to purchase. Thanks for the info guys and if any, girls

Red top (Standard) for most people
Yellow top (Deep cycle) if you have a big stereo AND listen to it alot with the car off.

I have the red top (1050CCA). Remember: a standared alternator will NOT charge the deep-cycle yellow top correctly. Deep cycle AGM batteries need a special charging cycle.

Got mine from a local speed shop for 175 Canadian. Buying batteries online is not cheap because of the VERY heavy shipping...

It will work just fine, there are rumors (probably true) that deep cycle batteries will create a memory, which equals to shorten life.

I said won't charge it correctly. Basically, you will see reduced battery life and capacity.

Deep cycle AGM batteries do not have the memory effect. Period. No lead acid battery does. Only NiCad batteries used to exhibit memory, but the formula has been refined to the point where memory effect in modern NiCads is very rare.
