How long will last? Is it worth it?

link works fine if you copy and paste it... and its not a catback, its a turboback. are you looking for loud? good sound? civic sound? being in Cali this will not pass smog as there is no cat and being there is no cat you will need to plug the spot in the block where the cat connects to.

Food for thought. I spent over 700 bucks on a set of RB true duals only to realize they were WAY heavier than the stock exhaust. Damn they sounded good tho.
In my experience, a single tip will weigh less, and an exhaust from Racing Beat will sound much better.

My experience with stuff like that is that it'll either not line up right, you'll end up with the exhaust tips too far apart or too close together, it won't hang on the factory hangers the way it's supposed to, it'll rattle like there's no tomorrow, it'll probably be too loud, the welds will probably give way soon... there's no end to it. I made my own exhaust, RB stuff costs way too much, but anything cheaper will be a nightmare to get right.

OP, thanks for editing the link. It was half that size when I saw it earlier.

Unless your wanting to stay dual exhaust you could get a nice HKS or other nice ones for about the same or a little more. Not saying those are garbage. Don't want to jump on the "it's on eBay so it must be garbage" bandwagon.

Well I'm not gunna be using the down pipe cuz mine is NA. I have a header that ill connect the test pipe to and then run the bactback from there. If it doesn't line up, its ok I have a welder and such to make any adustments needed. I know I shoulve spent an extra 250 and got the RB setup but I couldn't wait any loner. I have a pretty large street port with a full factory exhaust setup and its been choking out the motor. My exhaust manifolid gasket is bad and I have a major leak and that's been all bad. Smells like fuel in the cab all the time.

Well, I'm certainly not saying it's garbage because it's on eBay, I definitely have had my fair share of good products from the Chinese market. I bought a Pacesetter exhaust when I first got the car, only because I got rear-ended and broke off both my mufflers. This was before I joined the Rx7 club, and had never even heard of RB. The only support I knew of at the time (2004) was Victoria British (now Black Dragon). Once I got the cat-back system in the mail, it came with different mufflers, left and right. One was rolled, one was straight cut. After a few headaches, that was all sorted out, but the worst part was that only one of the hangers was in the right spot. ONE! And that one was the adjustable one that goes right behind the last catalytic converter. Every other one was too long, too loose, too far away, not bent right, rubbed the body, etc. The y-pipe looked like it was designed by a toddler as well.
The mufflers really aren't bad though, and I like the look. So after a few chops, welds, grinds, etc., I now have a nice, functioning cat back system that doesn't restrict flow (after re-working the y-pipe as well). I'd have probably been better off just getting 2 high quality mufflers and re-plumbing the whole thing myself.
