only 6 psi?

I noticed today that the car was sluggish... checked my boost gauge, and even with the whole RB turbo back exhaust, I've got a max of 6psi. It feels so goddam slow. I checked for vac lines and thought maybe the fuel cut was messed up, but it doesn't feel like a brick wall or anything. Just cuts off around 6 psi and holds there. Think this could be something else, or is it time for me to get the S5 turbo and manny? Thanks

Do a compression test and the ATF trick if you haven't.

If you have no cats, I would say the turbo. Good time to upgrade. Im trying to kill mine. HEHE. I boost 10psi on the stock turbo and It still won't give up.

Do you hear a LOUD whooooshing noise when it does go into boost?&nbsp This is indicative of a loose clamp or hose on the intake...

once again reted wins. Seems like I blew the intercooler hose partly off, so I guess 6 psi was the limit, and after that it just leaked out. Clamped her down again and i'm back to ~9psi depending on gear. Thanks guys
