which one is my ect?

Quick question. On my water pump and thermostat housing I have 2 sensors for my 87 t2. One is a one wire sensor on top of my thermostat housing and one on the back of the water pump is a 2 wire sensor. Which one is which? Is one the switch for the fan, and the other the 2 wire the ect? Thanks

the one on the top of the thermostat neck is for the small fan i believe. the green one is the temp switch that goes to the ecu.
