"I like RX-7s, I've recently aquired a second one. Its is a 1986 GXL series. It only has 18,000 miles on a rebuilt engine, but the engine seems to be having trouble revving over 4000RPM, and I cannot bring the vehicle to go faster than 120MPH.

My other vehicle is a Toyota Supra. I personally believe it has advantages over the RX-7 when travelling over a straight line course, but the RX-7 does very well in the corners. I plan to sell the Supra to fund my new RX-7 project.

I'd like some ideas on what I can do to my new RX-7 with the money from my Supra.

In conclusion, I enjoy participating in sexual activities with the girlfriends of those who I "blow the doors off of" in my Supra, and they are then automatically very attracted to my manlyness."

/end translation.

Thanks for the Translation Jono20. I was about to move it to the lounge as a utter waste of any 2nd gen technical members time, when I see he actually asked a question in the thread.

But in my area only guys with tiny little weinnies judge their studdliness on how fast their car goes in a straight line.

I would suggest some AXE body spray, as according to the commercials it quite drives women wild with sexual attraction, and would be considerably less than the money spent on trying to make a '86 GXL fast.

ok well lets offer a couple of helpfull hints to the ricer.

1)do the full 60k tune up.
2)search for the problems you are having because more than likely it's been covered on more than one occasion.
3)once your car is running how it should stock then you can start modifying it like putting on an aftermarket exhaust sytem as well as opengin up the intake. The n/a's run very rich causing an hp decrease. If you get something like an safc and have it tuned by a pro it will yeild higher hp though not by a leaps and bounds. Unless you are looking at spending alot of money one mod to get this thing fast I would suggest saving up for a tII swap.

oh my head hurts. You goto UTI and can't compile a coherent post. Please sell the RX-7 and stick with the Supra.

Is there an IQ requirement to own Rotary's? We should implement a world wide law!
