Okay i must like to learn the hard way...

well purchases a hybrid turbo, came with stock exhaust housing, so i swapped it out for my ported stock housing with slightly enlarged wastegate. too it out for it maiden voyage and boom! no motor apex seals. i guess i underestimated the additional airflow i was going to get. hit 10-11 psi and it was game over! i should have known that 550p-720s wasnt going to be enough. damn. well time to start over for the third time. i was running a rebuilt engine, street ported, ~3500-4000 miles 550-720 injectors, rtek 1.5, safc, 3in turbo back. has anyone ever reused the water orings, i am thinking i may be able to get away with a new housing/rotor and seals.

As for the water o-rings, they don't cost too much, do they? I personally wouldn't risk using them. They're prob ok, but is it worth it?
