Ok... so my secondary injectors aren't coming on at all.
This isn't a hesitation at all, they just dont fire, at 4000 rpm my car just stops, sputters, backfires a bit, etc.
I checked for the orfice thing in the pressure sensor line, it was there. Just ran a ground from the pressure sensor to the shock tower and have the same thing.
I would check if the injecters are plugged in.. (this motor was just installed by a shop in indiana, dont think it was a rotary shop) but i dont know where they are. =/ looked in the haynes but i couldnt get an idea or anything of what to look for. the car will go passed 4k if i dont mash the throttle and just apply slight pressure.
ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated..

if you look there is a fuel rail above the intake manifold, underneith will be two things sticking into the intake manifold. They have electrical connections at the top and the connections are colored.
procedure: take off IC, take off UIM. Look down, and there will be 2 fuel rails, the upper one (longer) is the 2ndaries

You could check the pin voltages at the ecu to see if anything is malfunctioning. Its a lot less work than ripping apart the upper half of the motor. Just rip up the passanger side carpet, unbolt the access panel and start testing voltages. 4b-31 of the FSM.

Id think its more of an electrical problem than them forgetting to clip on the fuel injectors.

I need more info, but it doesn't sound like its that the 2nds aren't coming on... is it leaning out? I would first verify that... 2nd it could be the TPS is out of wack or just bad..... any codes? what year? You may have A-bad injector, the MAF might be f'd, the OMP maybe in limp home mode if its an S5 ecu, possible intake leak when boost kicks in, etc......just trying to come up with other ideas here....Let us know more.. Check to make sure all the O-rings on the injectors are good, If there old and cracked they'll suck air... ohhhh, check to see if the fuel ressure REG (on the firewall side of the 2nd fuel rail) that a vacuum line is okay going to the manifold

its an 88 t2 (in my sig) its like the secondaries arent coming on.. it gets to 4k and just surges.. trying to passt.. but cant. right now im just trying to avoid pulling the upper half of my engine apart

I had the exact same problem. I would gun it, then all of a sudden at around 4grand it was like hitting a wall. The RPM's just wouldn't climb up at all.
I took it to my local RX guru and he cleaned out the electrical connectors/ replaced the resistors for the injectors and after that the secondaries would work fine.

yeah dude it sounds exactly like it.. i can get passed 4k if i lightly depress the throttle.. but if i mash it, it hits 4k and it just loses all power.. wont go passed it no matter how long ive held it there (max was like 5 seconds.. it doesnt sound very healthy during the surging)
if you look into it it would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Mine does that when I dont have the orifice in the boost sensor line. I can ***** foot it past 4k with some small back fires, but more than 30% throttle and it just sits there back firing like a mother ******. Be sure to check that.

dude drox imma cry if that was my prob.. i pulled the line that goes from the pressure sensor to the uim.. and there was nothing in the hose. there was a little nipple type deal on the uim but that was just so there was something for the hose to attach to.. shoudl the orfice be in the hose? because there is nothin in the hose.

Ok, try this. Unplug the vacuum line from the boost sensor and put a bolt or a screw in it to stop it from being a vac leak. Go for a few runs in your car. Is it still doing it?
