ok its nd elctrieul problem

the injectors are wired right
fuel pump works
the fuel pump is new(verified 2day)
fuel pump relay is good
main relay is good
the afm is hooked up
all vacuums are accounted for
all plugz are pluged
im getting fuel in the lines to the injectors

the car still starts goes up high in idel to about 3k starts falling and then dies. if i keep my foot on the gas during start up it will run about 20 secs. if i start and then take my foot off about 7 secs and patting the gas judt kills it faster.

now i have theory,
my gas gauge does not read, so i took the fuel pump out to check (hince the new fuel pump verification) and almost a full tank. so what controls the gas gauge ? the floater is working and in good shape, is there a fuse, relay, fuseable link, anything for the gauge could that also may control the fuel flow.

its almost as if the car starts but when it fires the injectors stop working. is there a certain fuse or relay just for injectors? i checked my egi fuse and it is still good as far as that goes i just have no more ideas. one thing i did find was a few vac leaks on the air intake, but they are taken care of now.

wits end now

sounds like a vac leak, or mis-adjusted TPS,

And nothing is related to the gas gauge other than the low fuel indicator.

(In order that you should be checking)

Bad sender, disconnected sender, loose or corroded screws on the back of the gauge cluster, bad gauge.

But again, the gauge and the sender have absolutely nothing to do with the car running. You could have the sender and all the gauges removed from the car and the car would run fine (as long as there were no other issues).

big enough leak (such as the line for the BAC) and it will stall

ok so ive been searching for like 5 hours now and i found that even if i had a vac leak that i should be able to keep the car alive with the gas pedal but thats the thing its as if the injectors just arent spraying im not getting anything out of it.

If it runs super rough with your foot on the gas it might be the AFM not being plugged in/not working. Otherwise check TPS.

How are you checking???

Get the engine running enough (such as holding the throttle open), then while it is running, spray engine starting fluid (walmart/most auto parts stores) around the intake runners and vac lines. If the RPMs go up or smooth out when you spray a particular area, then you have a vac leak in that area.

Avoid spraying engine starter fluid around the exhaust manifold.

i have to keep spraying into the TB of the car will die once the starter fluid burns out thats the end. i know it has gas because i have had to deflood it a few times it could be the afm since that controls the fuel pump and i just replaced the the fuel pump relay so im pretty sure its right is there a way to testthe afm in the manual ?
