ok guys it time for braggin
it's time for some stats here
I am curious as to what everyone is pulling in the 1/4, 0-60, hp/torque,
dont foget to include your mods, anything that has been stripped, year of car and mod of rx7 you have.

Hmmm
Well I haven't done much to my car, and as you know...stock these cars pull 15.1 (My 1989 Turbo II is rated at 15.1 on the 1/4 mile.)
Now I have some port widening done similar to a street port, APEXi DUal chamber BOV (no gain there really)...
Now on my last run I was running 92 octane fuel without octane booster, w/ 18.2 gallons of fuel (thats right a full tank) as well as I still left in my spare tire and all of my work stuff and caar tools in the back of my car...you can imagine that that adds a lot of weight...
Anywho my run was 15.337 @ 90.04 MPH ish @4-6psi of boost 0-60 is unknown (haven't tested yet) and hp/torque is roughly (not dyno'd yet) 240HP/220 ft*lbs ish...nothing to brag about really...but without the extra weight I should easily be doing mid-high 14's (not to mention that NOS octane booster and spraying NOS on the intercooler before a run (probably not safe...but I have heard it is interesting) alternative is to run with ICE on the intercooler...but that could be restrictive to air flow. Anywho...I should get decent times when I go out and run again next year on my new clutch (and possibly I will do a run BEFORE I make my next few mods. Also now I am running 7-8 PSI since I fixed the stupid boost leak I had =/

Man my car is soooooooo fast!!! I swear it's like Mach 10......
I bought my car about 2 months ago and heres my mods and times..
No mods what so ever.
1/4 mile in 5,184,000 sec.
0-60 mph in 5,184,000 sec.
I know it seems a little slow but wait til it actually moves :p

I raced an automatic Probe GT from a stop light and stopped when I was roughly 2 and 1/2 car lengths ahead of it. This was about 50-60mph.
That's the only thing I have to go by. The automatics are rated at 8.2sec to 60 and 16.3 in the 1/4. So at least I'm a good bit faster than that.
I would estimate high 6s for 0-60 and mid 15s for the 1/4. I hope go to the track one day.

one of 3 reasons...or both(err...)
One reason...I had only been driving a stick shift for about 3 weeks, another reason is because my car was full of ****, the compartments were full, the hatch was full, and my gas tank was full (as I used gas my times got significantly better lol), my spare tire was in, washer fluid had just been re-filled, etc. etc. Wasn't very good at launching, bad wheel hop on Touring Tires....lotsa factors...my car should be a hell of a lot faster if I actually dragged it seriously (which I will do in spring next year or in the middle of October providing the weather permits!)
And if I can afford some new rims and Drag Radials...then BANGO you will have more 1/4 mile times to play with as of October ish.
Back then I didn't know that weight, tires, tire pressure, etc could be factors in the 1/4 mile times (Next time I am thinking of running 33 ish PSI rather than the 40psi recommend max on the rear tires..... BAH inexperience sux If only I was smarter 3 months ago (not to mention I had a boost leak and my stock Bypass valve was screwing up)

kabooski is that a Gtech time. If not then you must be one hell of a driver. I am hoping to pull that as a best time, and I have three times the mods. I will let you know my time from sat.
I nominate you for most power from least mods award. lol

10.80 @ 130 mph on slicks
11.1 @ 130.5 mph on drag radials
505 RWH on dynojet in 3rd gear......4th gear would have been higher *but* my clutch decided it was enough !!!!! and started slipping
Going back on dyno soon to do 4th gear pull and finally a 50 shot of Nos

first time out last week
16.0 was the best I could do, but like you said, I had a car full of stuff and no experience at real drag racing. This week, hopefully in the mid 14, got a 13 sec guy coming out to give me some pointers

total maybe between 16-18k in the car. the tranny is the **** shifting withuot the clutch is always nice but overall it holds up much better to the drag racing then the stock one, i blew to of em got tired of swapping trannys. plus i can add a 6th gear when i get some money.
