Yes you can. See attached jpg and the statement at the top of the page. Make sure that they are installed right. It matters. Talking about how the tang sits in the rotor etc. I used new ones with the exception on one engine and it works fine.

you can reuse the oil control ring springs... Yea.. Take your time installing the,m.. or else you will have to reopen the engine and wait for new parts to arrive ![Frown](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
as for the 54mm nut, get a tool to hold your flywheel still... Then either A: get some powerful impact tools and crank at it until it pops off, or B: get a strong breaker bar to put the socket on,, Get a 4 foot cheaterbar.. Then stick a crowbar in the end of the pipe , Then have a BIG friend sit on the bar until either
A: something breaks and your friend falls on his Azz, B: the engine rolls over on it's side and your friend falls on his azz , or C: the nut pops off and your friend falls on his azz

I wouldn't reuse the oil control springs.  These things are copper coated, and if you take them out, you'll notice that the copper coating are all rubbed off from the contact "points", unless you have a very low mileage engine?
The 54mm nut equates to a 2-1/8" socket, which Sears Craftsman sells for under $30 a piece.  These things are 3/4"-drive, so you'll need a 3/4"-drive impact gun or a 1/2"-drive to 3/4"-drive adapter to a 1/2"-drive impact gun.  I would recommend getting an impact gun (and air compressor) to do this job.  Else it's going to take 10 times longer.  If you're getto, you can use the BFH and chisel trick.![Smilie](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I'm semi-ghetto. I use the 2 and 1/8th Craftsman socket and breakover bar. I use a four foot long piece of angle iron(not angle, U-shaped) with two holes drilled to match the bolt holes for the pressure plate. Bolt that on the flywheel. Offer the breakover and socket up to the nut. Hold nut on with foot, and strike the breakover bar with my twenty buck, twenty lb sledge hammer. Might take two strikes. Acts like a slow impact gun. Jars the nut off. Using just a long pipe on the breakover bar will work, but not nearly as good as just striking the breakover bar with the twenty lb sledge hammer. Not ever a close call.
