Do as RR suggested on another thread. PULL the front cover. Take a close look at the oil pump. Remember how there is a small woodruff key that attaches the oil pump gear to the shaft???? Its easy to not get that key to stay inplace during install.
We're suggesting the shaft of the oil pump is not turning. Only the gear and chain.
Don't dispair. That's probably the problem. Light is seen at the end of the tunnel.

No not the eshaft key. When you take your oil pump apart you will have the nut, washer (the one you have to bend up), and very small key that fits in the shaft. Did you put your oil strainer on? It may be the front o-ring but if it was you should have some oil pressure

bleh, other people getting credit for my suggestions again....
anyways, yeah. if you are sure you got 0 oil pressure then a good place to start is by pulling the front cover and checking both the o-ring to be sure it is still intact and to be sure that the small key on the oil pump drive gear(on the oil pump itself) is in place, it is easy to push that key out of place which can cause the gear to spin freely on the shaft.

Just to be sure; were the sensors pulled directly from an existing block, or had they been removed and exposed to air for a while before you tried them?
On my rebuild, I pulled a sensor from my N/A's old motor and used it for my TII. I'm sure you already know this, but most of the sensors in your car will fail if exposed for a long period of time. Good luck brotha'.
Do you have a friend who's pressure sensor works, that would let you use his to find out once and for all if it's the sensor?

shouldn't have done anything to the engine but i wouldn't continue cranking on it until you have found something that is the likely cause of the pressure problem, you can pour oil down the threaded portion of the oil filter pedestal and it will at least get some oil into the eccentric shaft for some lubrication.
i just wanted to be sure you weren't just bumping the starter because it takes a couple of second for the oil pressure to build and run through the passages.
i have a few keys, if you can't find yours lemme know and i can send you one.
edit: if you never took the nut off the pump then it couldn't have come out, but that is a little bit of an odd way of disassembling the engine, i always took the gear off the oil pump. you sure you got the long key in there? the long one that rides in the eccentric shaft itself?

Guys, if he left the nut on the oil pump and left it together for the rebuild (which he did, I asked him) the key could not have fallen out. I'm really doubting it's that as he was making oil pressure fine before the rebuild and never took the oil pump apart or anything.

This is what I checked/replaced when I had my oil pressure problems.
- Took 3 oil pumps apart and took best parts to make one good one within spec
- Replaced oil pump gear with a brand new one
- Checked oil pump chain with the other 3 I have and choose the best one
- Checked the oil pickup with the other 4 I have and choose the best one
- Replaced oil pressure control valve and shim
- Replaced oil cooler bypass valve spring
- Put in a brand new rear 80-85psi adjustable oil pressure regulator
- Replaced front cover o-ring and teflon retainer
- Replaced the E-shaft bolt o-ring
- Replaced eccentric shaft thermo spring

don't get offended but i have to ask, you didn't forget the oil pickup tube did you? simple mistake to make, i sometimes find myself forgetting little crap like that but often remember before everything is in place.
this being your first time i know you must be anxious but don't get overzealous because it can cause simple mistakes, you did put oil in it too right? lol sorry but i have to ask these questions as if the key was there the last and likely only thing left is that there is a blockage in the system.

Before you do anymore cranking, be sure to pull the sparkplugs out so you don't put any load on the engine. Then spin the engine until you have oil pressure on the gauge.
I'm supposing you pulled the bolts out of the oil pump to get the gear off the eccentric shaft????? Puzzling.
