Oil level sensor location

Alright, today I looked underneath my car and my oil level sensor cord was hanging there and its still hooked up to the oil pan. I was wondering if someone could tell me where it plugs back up to. Thank you

How is it still hooked up, but hanging? This does not make sense. Do you mean the sensor is still in the pan, and the wire is popping out but not connected to anything?

UH.... Look for a stray connector? It's close by more than likely... unless it got torn off by a road hazard. Look carefully at the connector and find the one that will mate with it. It should be between drivers side inner fender and the engine behind the power steering pump and in front of the fuel filter.

why do some people bother... he means you can't take the wire off the sensor itself it has a plug on it a few inches down the wire.. and whats with the vague description, you can't fool other FC owners into believing you know what you are talking about like the honda guys...

i believe it comes out of the same harness as the starter harness if you can't find it then trace the other wire coming out of the oil pan they run together

edit: if you still can't find it PM me i just had mine apart so i know exactly what you are talking about, i'll snap a pic

Um.... Could you say exactly what you mean by that? Something about your mother maybe? Actually I do have a honda.... haven't driven it for 2 months... cause my 7 rocks the house... what else you got? You wanna talk smack? I'm trying to help this poor guy who doesnt have a clue. the connector should be close by. Seems kinda silly to me. You wanna help or meet out back behind the school house? !@#$#@$~ school children!?! Maybe you should change your name to fairyguy. I'm just trying to help this dude out, not feel him up.

WARNING INTERNET BULLY PRESENT EVERYONE DUCK AND COVER your threats mean nothing to me... if you are going to try and help someone be more specific, OBVIOUSLY
It should be between drivers side inner fender and the engine behind the power steering pump and in front of the fuel filter.
since thats where the other end is and the wire is only 3 ******* INCHES LONG

Obviously this is going beyond the original posters problem. Maybe I have rubbed someone's rubarb beyond what is normally tolerated. I'm sorry. Not my intent. I have gone too far & apologize. Bringing your mother into it was beyond the pale and obviously not her fault. The oil sensor line is in the location I described and should be easily located. If the color code of the necessary wires is required I will search it out & respond accordingly. Personal attacks are unnecessary and against forum policy & I again apologize. I am just trying to help. I still think you should change your name though....LOL
