Exclamation Ohh Noo!!

Hey i have a 88 Gtu, After getting one thing fixed somethin else goes bad, oh the joys of owning a fc. My battery wont recharge I have to jump it every time before i drive it. Every time I try to start it up I just here clicking noises I checked my connection and i noticed that the little screw at the top of my alternator was striped and it wasnt getting a good connection to that wire. From what I hear I have to get a brand new alternator just to get that fixed is there anyway i can get a temporary connection to it until i get a new alt. Also i think i need a new alternator because stupid me, I heard your allowed to spray water into ur engine bay to cool it down faster as long as you dont get the alternator wet but I accidently got it wet and i think thats y it is doing this. How Much do alternator run for?

perhaps you should be asking how much a cracked set of irons would be to replace? a pair of those will keep the motor from starting

Yea you should never get cold water on a hot engine. Also take off your alt and bring it to a local parts store and have them test it for you, it should be free. It could just be a bad connection at one of your battery terminals.
