Official FC Vented Hood Thread

About $1300 for the Pan Speed hood delivered and it looks like ~$815 for the Atihun hood. Not too bad seeing as how all the other ones are ugly as sin and should be fixed with fire in my opinion.

No. To angular for my tastes. I like the smoother lines that are on the Pan Speed and the Atihun hood. I e-mailed Atihun and am waiting a response. Honestly though I think I'm going to build by own and then make a few fiberglass copies.

I really like this setup, i guess because its very plain:

it looks aggresive but not overly done. its a really nice middle ground between race and street.

I plan on doing something very similar to this with my Panspeed hood. I'll probably be switching to a Vmount setup with ducting sealed against the hood for the intercooler. Either that or sealed ducting from the radiator, but I'm leaning towards vmount.

I've always liked that car, i just dont care for the mirrors.

If I use my AL hood to pull a mold hells yeah. But you have to come sling epoxy though

I Like that one too but the vent is a little too small and too far back for my needs. I plan on doing exactely what the Vettes did although my setup is VERY similar to Blue TII's. In fact our intercoolers are in the identical position. I mounted mine to follow the lines of the hood so that I wouldn't need to do some CRAZY ducting like on the Vettes. We shall see though.

beautiful car. is that a vent there in the front bumper? how do you do that?
That car is looking good. I like the mirrors, just not in body color. I did mine in black to tie into the S4 theme.

I agree. I have thought about grabbing one of the VIS CF ones just for racing as they are so cheap and painting it body color- but swapping hoods is a pain and it is a bit too much for flying under the radar on the streets.

no more hoods from me. Done with that. Havoc's hood ended up being a mess. I tried epoxying the underside to the topside, expoxy failed and I went back to the old way and it went downhill from there. That is why I had stopped making them with an underside from that point on period. Design and idea was great, pulling it off was a different story. I still have one left.
