O2 Sensor Related issue?
OK, so i posted before that i had to Replace the O2 Sensor and what was the best way to do so.
SO. i got the Sensor out, the Wire to the Sensor was also Completely Toast, Cracked and so on. So what i had to do, which seemed like a good idea. was To put a small hole in the Firewall and Run the new O2 Line Strait to the EGI.
Car starts, my little short ban O2 Reader shows that its running a tad rich.
Revs Fine. But when taken out onto the Road and With my foot to the floor the Engine Sounds like the Fuels Getting Cut off. Like its ether Not getting Enough Fuel or the Spark has been Killed.
Now If i dont go Wide open on it. i can Get the Full Range of RPM movement.. this only happens when i go wide open.
Kinda Feels like the TPS when its unplugged if you wanted an Example
Did i miss something here?
Please let me know, It didn't do this with the sensor Removed
Also im using a bosh Universal Sensor... seems to be all i can get around here

After taking it out For a test run.
If the Vac is Above 7 HG/in i can drive it up to the higher RPM range.
The Magic Number on the RPM scale Seems to be 4K.
Anywhere before that if i run wide open Its Fine till 4K RPM.
Im starting to wonder if its somehow i new issue with the FPR... I have no idea at this point >< the engine was fine before i switched out the O2

The transition from just primarys running the car to primarys AND secondarys is approx 3800 rpm. Your experiencing what is called the 3800 rpm hesitation and there are several hundred posts in the past on overcoming that hesitation. Everything from just cleaning the fuel injectors to regrounding the ground wires for the internal grounds of the ECU.
Secondary injectors only work if the engine is under a Load and the rpm is at or over 3800 rpm.

1. Pull trouble codes: a code 5 will indicate the ECU is not seeing the O2 sensor
2. Run a 'green lamp' test, i.e. 12v led on bottom center conductor of the test connector. It should flash on and off during steady operation at 2000 rpm or so. No flashes = ECU not seeing/playing with the O2 sensor
Bosch universal sensor should be fine. That's what I am running with.
The O2 sensor is not involved in heavy throttle operation; the ECU runs open loop. Something else will cause problems in heavy throttle above 3800 rpm. Your symptoms suggest the secondary injectors may not be coming on. Could their wiring have been disturbed during your work on the O2 sensor?

ran the Lamp test, i got flashing, Went ahead and did a Code check, got nothing back, 3secs of Light then nothing.
I dont see anything in that area that could be related to the sec Inj, im still digging around for somthin to work with.
On an odd note my PS pump Pulled a middle school Science fair Volcano on me... started the rx and the fluid Came up out of the filler neck... Good times
Looks like its off to cleaning the injectors
