hey guys- anyone ever heard of an FC ignition system going "bad" as the car gets warm ( say, 20 miles into a freeway ride). car just starts losing power, after a while has almost NO power, gotta baby the throttle to keep it from "bogging", idles great, runs great when cold...this prob is kicking my a$$

When my OEM cats clogged, it would run fine up to about 4000 rpm, this is a different symptom... the Bonez hi-flow cat I got on her now is only about 3 months old...She's also running rich as hell, so I'm shooting for the injectors next (new o2 sensor)

All the voltages read good @ the ECU except for the split-air sol. vlv.- it's got 12v @ idle when it should have below 1.5 ( I have thought about that maybe sending the cat to an early grave)...I thought for sure it was the boost/pressure sensor 'cause the voltage output from it was all over the place when I would rev it (not a steady 3.5v called for in FSM). a new "used" one from Mazdatrix didn't help, though. Man, anything you can think of, guys- toss it out...I've been an aircraft electrician/ a&p mechanic for 19 years now, and almost nothing mechanical/ electrical kicks my *** like this is!

It's very unlikely the injectors will be causing rich mixtures. And how do you actually know they're too rich?

the layer of black soot lining the y-pipe internals I saw when I put the new RB mufflers on, the gas mileage getting worse, those were my first clues...keep 'em coming, Icemark
