Not Getting Enough Power??

Ok, i've been having this problem since I got the car, and I would rather not have to pay a mechanic to fix it, because I have my moms b/f who knows all about electrical stuff at my disposal to help me with wiring and such, plus I know a little bit myself, but hardly as much as he does....anyways, the following things have been bothering me, but I just got the car, and its been getting painted most of the time...

1. When I turn on my headlights, the more I turn the dial (for the lights on the front, then the flip ups, and so on), the rpms go down (not the actual engine, but the tach just drops. Also once the headlights are on, the tach jumps up and down a lot like its bouncing or something, none of this stuff ever happens when the headlights are off...
2. The blinkers are fine when the headlights are off, but when I turn them on, the green lights on the dash for the blinkers are on constantly, until I use the blinker for real, then it blinks on and off like normal...also, when I put the blinker on, the rpms go up and down like 500 with the blinker...
3. Usually when I lock one side, the other automatically goes with it, it hasn't been doing this recently, and when I lock it from the inside, it doesn't make the security beep like it did before...
4. The passenger side window button stopped working, but it works from the drivers side controls...

These are the problems i've been having....no clue what was causing them....now to update the strange things....I pulled my car out of the garage to get my lawnmower out from behind it, and I let it idle for a while to see if it lowered the rpms by itself, cause it seemed to hang at 1700 until I got going then it dropped to a normal idle....anyways, when I was done getting the lawnmower out and filling it up with gas, I pulled the car back in the garage...mind you I had to set up a leafblower out of the box, and go inside for a phone call and stuff in the meantime, so my car had been idling for a while....I pull into the garage, and turn off the car....then I go to lock the door from the inside. I knew the security thing was going to not work like usually, but I did it, and the passenger side suddenly worked and the beep went off and the light in the center on the security thing flashed like usual too....so i'm thinking maybe the battery wasn't giving enough power or something when the car started, but once i let it idle it got more charged? I haven't driven more than 40 miles since I first got it a little less than a month ago, but I had these problems when i first got it...I dont know what the deal is, or what might be to blame for this, but i thought maybe with the new info someone could help.

I thought it was maybe the alternator and it wasn't charging the battery, but I dont know why that would cause the blinkers to be wierd and such....ANYONE have suggestions? Please help me out, because my next option is paying a guy to look at it, and in my experiences, mechanics dont know much about the electrical parts of the car, so I dont want some guy replacing part after part until it works, and have it end up costing me a fortune.

Check your grounds.Loose grounds can make things run haywire because the signals are muddied up.AS for your blinkers check to see if they have the right bulb.
