Noobie saying hello.

Hey guys...noobie here...I'm planning to get my FIRST TII this week**cheers and appaluse**....it's got a few goodies...its a 87 TII with FMIC,BOV,msd ignition,RBdownpipe,2.5" exhaust, FCD, greddy turbo timer and most importantly a rebuilt motor and rebuilt and ported turbo with about 45000kms.
I already have my first mods planned...an 3" exhaust, four 720cc injectors,255 walbro, and maybe some APEXI management mods. My plan is to hit 13's by summer.
Anyways, my question is, what kind of turbo does my s4 have? Is it an garrett t25, and what would be a good upgrade for me turbowise,eg-t28. Thanx guys
I'm sure i'll have many many questions in the future!

G'day

Start with 2 x 720cc you may find that you will flood it very easily with four (with out ECU replacement/piggy back)

you should be able to hit 10 psi with the stock turbo, not sure on the size, but if you do a search you'll be able to find it. (you get get more but there's a number of threads on that as well )

Car sound sweet post some pics after you get your baby

Like stated above. Keep the rimary injectors the same(550cc) and upgrade the secondaries to 720's.

A walbro would be good and then getting a Apexi SAFC to control the injectors.

Another way to go is get an engine management system like Haltech or Microtek. This will make you better off in the long run especially with a bigger turbo.

The Series 5 turbo's are Hitachi H18-s or something very close to that since I pulled mine last week. I'm guessing the Series 4 turbos are something like this as well.

From the sound of the mods already on it you might be at the edge of hitting 13's already if not doing it.

A popular turbo swap is the T04B. I think the rx7store.net sells them where you send in your old turbo and they swap the comrpessor side while keeping the exhaust side.

Welcome to the boards! Im pretty new myself (ive been browsing/reading for about a month before I joined last week tho), but you came to the right forum! That sounds like one sweet *** FC u got there! About the injectors, like previously said, just upgrade the secondaries. Its good that you keep up the supporting mods too (like fuel etc), because a lot of guys just up the boost and hit 13s but then a month later wonder why their car doesnt run...I think you will be pretty close to (if not running) 13s with that setup as is. Please post some pics and feel free to ask anymore questions you have!

thanx for the warm welcome.
Some background about myself:
I'm from the MR2 WORLD as i used to own an 88 MR2SC that ran about 14.5 1/4mile. Owned it for 5 yrs and moved on to a **gasp**honda civic...hey,it was really cheap had mods but got stolen hence why i am getting the FC. I hope that it feels as good as my mr2 sc does, as the 4agze was so smooth.
Anyways, shes nothing pretty too look at since it is 15 yrs old, but in time i hope to get the body in good shape too.
