Noob here

hi, everyone. i recently bought an 86 N/A RX-7 and want to know how i get a hold of a stock air intake tube and distributor. ive never dealt with a mazda car before and just want to get the stock engine running before i do anything. thanks

thx. ill just look around in junk yards. just want the stock engine running till i save up some money, then im putting a v8 down in it.

their is no Distributor.... its all electronic.

thanx for the info. so the ignition piece on the motor is that the lead ignition coil? if so thats what i need.

i would check around the junk yard or on the for sale section on this forum and theres always ebay too.....and by the way i dont think you should put a v8 in it because that just ruins the car IMO if you wanna have a v8 car go get a stang or a camaro dont ruin another rx7 like some other people have done....juss go turbo

the part thats on the engine is the crank angle sensor. also known as the CAS.
13bturbo FC. this is not the place or time for that.

I am sure hes heard that opinion before, and I doubt we are going to change his mind, no matter how much it pains you to see a V8 in an FC

v8 in an Rx-7, get off these forums. i dont care how much i **** him off. thats where i draw the line. thats just ruins the uniqueness of the FC.

i dont hate v8 rx7 swaps i hate the people who do the v8 swaps.. its not the poor cars fault but i guess do as u wish
