No Spark in my heart and in my car WHY GOD!
Ok. So i have this Rx7 that is going on 2 year project i think now. I just can't seem to get it working propperly.
At the moment I am getting no spark. Which is odd because right before I took of the alternator to put on a dual pully (I was bored it was sitting there) it was getting spark just fine. I even replaced one of the coils after finding out it was intermitant. I was told that theoreticly the car didn't even need the alternator to generate spark? Is this true?
What I did to check for no spark.
-pull the wires a distance from the coil whatched for arch
-used a timing light
Possible problems.
-Alternator?

-pull the wires a distance from the coil watched for arch
-used a timing light
Possible problems.
-Alternator Ground? (While rotating the ground stem it possible that i broke it, however it was working just fine before I took it out the second time to put on the dual pulley.)
