No alignment on rear wheels?
I went to align my 4 wheels this morning since I bought new tires. The guy had a LOT of difficulties to align the front wheels and told me the rear ones couldn't be aligned. I looked in my Haynes manual and they only speak about the bases of the alignment.
Is it true that it's impossible to align the rear wheels? If it isn't, can you show me a diagram or give me a how to so I can show the mechanic how to do it?
Thanks

It's just a pain in the *** to adjust the rears. There's a bolt by the where the Lower control arm connects to the chassis that has to be turned a bit to get the specs you want. I forget what it's called though...

You can adjust toe on the rear end. There is a cam plate on each side. See the chapter 13 of the 87fsm, Rear Wheel Alignment. I've been to Firestone dealers who told me there was no adjustment. I just paid and went away and did it myself.
If the camber is off, it's probably due to old worn out springs and dead shocks that did in the springs. Mazdatrix sells a camber adjuster for the rear. If I were to do it again, I'd buy the two seperate adjusters instead of the single adjuster. They didn't sell the seperater wheel adjusters when I bought mine.
