No Acceleration anymore...
Alright, I've been looking through the forum for a few hours now and I'm starting to lose hope on this one, but I figured that I'd set up a post to see if anyone can help me.
I was driving home from the college on Friday, and about 2/3 of the way home (around 40 miles or so), I heard what sounded like a hose breaking loose under the passenger side of the hood. No sooner did that happen, I lost the ability to accelerate past 2300 RPMs. I was confused to say the least, but the car was still running to make it home. the rest of the way home, I shut off my radio and listened as closely as possible to the sound in the engine bay.
After the initial noise, I noticed that I could still hear the turbo spinning, and the boost gauge would move clunkily, but all in all it was functioning like normal. I did notice though that i was unable to feel the boost like usual, which may have been the cause of the acceleration problem. Even though I couldn't feel the boost though, I was able to hear the turbo spinning up like normal...
I am really stumped on this one and I need some direction on what to check... I've been forced to drive the freaking Accord that my mother normally drives. PLEASE HELP!! This is a punishment that no one should have to endure!!

I was thinking it was a boost leak. I'll check that this weekend, along with the compression test. What should compression be on the Turbo II model (1987)?
