Nitrous tell me about your experiences

looking into getting into nitrous.
i have an 88 N/A Coupe with just about everything done to it without porting and hardcore internals. looking to get a 50-75 shot. i know a little about wet and dry kits. i figured some of you may have dabbled in the NOS and would appreciate tips on where to mount the spray I.E. Intake or manifold. What kit would be best. Wet Vs. Dry For the RX7. and any other information you might wanna throw in

From what i understand, go ahead and put Nitrous in and get ready for the motor to pop.

Alright...I'm tired of posts like both above me. Honestly neither of you have any idea.

I ran a 75 wet shot on my carbed TII, wet is the only way I would go. For starters, the fuel system on the FC's are already the weakest link. With a dry shot you are taxing the stock injectors even more than they already are...not a good idea. You will still need to upgrade your fuel pump, but won't need to do anything else to your fuel system with a wet shot.

If you are serious about it, I would go ahead and get a universal single fogger, and plumb it a few inches behind the throttle body. Have the arming/activation wired in series to both a toggle switch and a WOT switch mounted on the throttle body. This way you will only spray when at WOT, and only when the nitrous is armed via the toggle. Start on the rich side of whatever the jetting recomendations are (larger fuel jet than recommended) and tune down the fuel from there.

People blow up their motors when they run too lean while spraying; due to either an inadequate fuel system, or improper jetting. People blow just as many motors with bad tuning with turbos. Where did NAAAAWWZZ get this bad stigma, I'd say from the god damned F&F. And many people take the word of F&F as the word of god.

If you have some more specific questions I'll be happy to answer them.

go nitrous, everyone else is scared
i ran nitrous in my civic untill i blew it up for the second time drag racing
the pistions were in my oil pan lol
but that was a dry shot and i was chipped with no revlimiter

they say nitrous is the best bang for your buck. but if you refill your bottle once a week @ 50 bux a pop. in a year you would spend 2600 on nos.
thats enough for a turbo a realy big turbo
