Exclamation Newbie Flooding Problems FC3S

Hi there,

I am reading this forum for a while now, and a bought a RX7 of my own.
they are very rare in the netherlands.

but I have flooded my engine what now ?

I tried the following

Pulled the EGI plug. and started for about 15 sec whith the pedal to the metal.
Reinserted te EGI plug and started no result.
Pulled out the sparks those where pretty WET cleaned them (they are almost new)
and started without the EGI fuse and the sparkplugs until the holes weren't smoking anymore

reinsterted the plugs wires and fuse and stil nu succes.

compression is fine when i bought it it had a test for the compression.

it is really not fun, because i only got it for a week now. it is a 13 B turbo.

anyone got tips ?

Have you checked for spark on the plugs?

If it's REALLY flooded, you might try pushing it while the car is in gear. Get the engine to spin over 1000RPM and it'll start.

That is assuming your plugs are good like SonicRat said

ok I've got it running !

We pushed the car in 2nd gear and after a while it started but it really had a poor idle.
I drove a while but the car is making a weird noise and is really slow.

and when i push the clutch, it valls out. and when i trie to start again no succes.
whith a little push runs again.

i have don noting like fuelswitch or someting.

i haven't checked my sparks jet

I could be wrong but it kinda sounds like you have low compression. I know you just had it tested. But, test it again for the fun of it.
