The offset is FACTORY offset.. Also.. They are NOT HONDA rims. The real rims are made by a Russian comapny and are sold by Desmund as Regamaster Evos. Spoon buys the rims from them and the only difference is Spoon only sells flat black instead of all the other colors avalible.
I have the Rota "Honda" rims. My rims are a direct ripoff of the Mugen rims but the slips are not Honda only rims. I get compliments almost daily about my rims.. too bad when I do the 5 lug swap I have to sell them
Oh and I am running 225/50r16 in the back with my 16x7 rims and it looks awesome.

Drift
High amounts of torque are not required to drift...A "drift" can be enduced by using the e-brake to lock the back wheels, and counter steering to control the drift. Also you can use a feint movement..like a pendulum steering out then quickly back in to lose the back end and "drift" both of these methods do not require torque. Also something to remember drifting always begins by stepping off the gas..

You got something against Honda or Spoon? Take it to the maufacturer, not the buyer. As far as I know, the Spoon wheels do not have the polished lip, they're just all flat black. They are also lightweight, sturdy wheels.
Here's another interesting thing. The bolt pattern on your 2nd gen rx7 is the same 4x114.4 as on my 91 Honda Accord. So, getting a sudden urge to swap your hubs out?
