New TII Project

Well, It's been a year since I bought the Sport and I just finished restoring it last month. I sold the Sport yesterday I never had the car registered or insured…just a garage queen/project. Anyway, the long-term plan was to restore the Sport, sell it and upgrade to a TII. I put a deposit on a series 4 TII. The body needs a LOT of work, the good part is that the engine was JUST (0 miles) rebuilt with all new Mazda seals and given a large streetport.

I will not be able to do a lot of the body work…beyond my skills, so I'll have to bring it to a shop to get fixed and painted. Fortunately I made enough on the Sport to cover the body work and paint. Take a look at the pix and let me know what you think…i.e. how much do you guys think it will cost to do the body work necssary to fix this car?

The car has a s5 lip and mirrors. The interior is in better shape than the Sport was when I picked it up. The seats are in good shape, no tears! You guys think this a good buy at $1500?
