Yes, it is a fresh rebuild! The motor sat for about three weeks after being completed though. It took about 25 minutes to get it fired up. After that it fires up at will.

Thanks for all of the comments. I am more than likely going to wrap it due to getting a lot of heeat off of it during the time it has run.

I have sunk a ton of time into this beatiful ride. It makes it all worth while to get it to where it is. I will be much better when it is complete and tuned! I will be back on the east coast within a year or two. Maybe we will get to terrorize same place together!

Thanks

Wow, Hey guys AZRR is Tom93r1 and myself glenrx7. I was trained by Paul Yaw and was his builder for a couple of years until he stopped producing engines. Paul helped start AZRR and still has a hand in it. I would say that Nolan's starting issue was being to rich. The motor left the shop with great compression. Still good just by the sound, I can tell it needs to be a little leaner and broken in.
Now some people have issues with coatings but I have spent time researching and testing ceramic coatings if done right, they are the same as wound glass (heat wrap). Hpc does a great job with thermal barrier coatings. Tom runs it on his third gen and I run it on my third gen(not running right now) no problems, but I am not a materials engineer so I will not say it is the best. I trust Francesco Ienetti with that... Like I said ceramics work if done right and Francesco would say the same.

So, to give you a little insight, Nolans ports intake and exhaust are really aggressive for a street port......intermediates are really big, this is why he has a "lumpy" idle that, and being rich as hell.
This all was the same thing Jrat went through getting our motor to 10 second qt's

I don't want to come across defensive however I have been trained in classic rotary by the best and I am determined to provide the best.

I did not quite get to the wiring of the fan today. I made some new mounting brackets for it though. Hopefully, I can get the wiring wrapped up tomorrow.

I ran into a nightmare of a problem this weekend. My SARD FPR took a crap on me. This thing is brand new. It caused some of the most oddball conditions you could ever imagine. I am through with the SARD and am now going to get an Aeromotive fpr!!

My starter also decided that it was its time to go as well. It has been hell this weekend.

The car is back up and running!! I got it home from Tucson on Wednesday. I am constantly having to pull fuel out of it due to the seals cutting in and the combustion chamber sealing better each time I drive it.Hopefully within a few weeks I will have the break in complete and be ready to get this beast on the dyno!!
