New S4 TII injector plugs
I just bought four new injector plugs. Do i have to match the wires or just solder them in without matching the wires? I know one is a signal from ecu and the other a ground. Just wanterd to make sure I do this right.. Thanks

One wire is a constant 12v from the direction of the Main Relay.
The other is a pulsed ground from the ECU.
It matters not on a individual injector plug, where one wire goes verses the other wire.
It DOES matter where each injector plug goes verses each injector.

The Front Primary should have two wires. One Light Green the other Brown.
The Front Secondary should have two wires, one Light Green/White and the other Brown/White.
The Rear Primary should have two wires, one Light Green/Black and the other Brown/Red
The Rear Secondary should have two wires, one Light Green/Red and the other Brown/Yellow.

Well, I have a 87turboii and I just rebuilt a 87turboii for a fellow, and they had the wiring I described. I'll post a jpg tomorrow.
Now this is a low impedence 87turboii that I have. It has the solenoid resistor package about a foot below the airfilter/afm.
If your car was a late 87 then it might have a high impedence injectors and then the wiring is different. Each plug would have one wire that is Black/Yellow. All four plugs will have this Black/Yellow.
Then the Front Primary will have a Light Green wire to go with it. The Front Secondary will have a Light Green/White wire, the Rear Secondary will have a Light Green/Red wire and the Rear Primary will have a Light Green/Black wire.
Wire colors get discolored over time. If the car was running more or less normal before you did this rewiring, then if you did one plug at a time you should be ok and we can forget about the difference in wire colors you have seen. Sometimes you can look further down teh wire to see the original color.
