new rx7 buyer help

hi im about to pick up an 86 rx7 n.a and would like to know what to look out for when buying it
the car has 59000 miles and has been seating but runs

im from il, des plaines, il would like to know and reputable shops that work on rx7's around my area

midwest is kinda behind on the rotary shops.. but its honestly alot cheaper to do most of the work yourself really..

There's a buyers guide in the FAQ. There is also a bunch of other information in the FAQ that you will be surely interested in when you buy the car. Good stuff for research.

For you second question, I recommend asking the local forum vice the technical section.

i looked at it today it gots rust everywhere, needs new brakes, fuel leaking inside. radio doesn't work,it was hard to steer so its got problem with steering

so im looking at a 89 rx7 at a dealer farberio you might have seen it on cars.com

Nope but I just looked. I assume you are looking at the one with sleepy eyes. Looks a bit rough around the edges but if its just that its a good deal, since its a dealer you will probably have to have them do a compression test for you.
