new? questions about jspec/s5 swap
im swapping from an s4TII to a jspec s5TII, and i have a few questions, as this is my first rx also, i got it from a guy who didnt treat this girl with the respect she deserved, so some things are difficult
he also had the engine, and was planning on doing a conversion, so i got it for pretty cheap, he said it had 40k on it, but there is no proof
anyways, i lifted the engine off the pallet it was on today, and when i tried to put on the downpipe (from the s4 body) it didnt fit, the actuator? for the wastegate got in the way, i didnt know if it was bent from sitting on the pallet (wierd looking bracket to begin with) or if i need a different downpipe for this conversion
second of all, i still have the s4 ECU, does this mean i am going to premix, all of the things i searched seemed like that is where they were going
also, for anyone who has done an engine swap, is there a trick to getting that driver side engine mount in easier, that thing sucks!
any other supprises i need to know about?
thanks

i did this swap, not to much work, the mount is a pain, i just kept working at it an since i did it my self, with no one there it took awhile but i got it, so just keep at that, as for everything else, im ran my stock ecu with no upgrade fine, i no whave it upgraded but it didnt need to be done, afm is stock S4, and i used a RB downpipe that i had and it worked fine, you may need to bend or straightin the wastegate rod alittle, just make sure its works smoothly, any other questions let me know i hope that helped
