New to my rx7
ok i have a bunch of questions i have a 89 tII with a rebuild 91 tII motor in it got it from a buddy. i wanted to pull the motor out and give it a street port before i left for iraq but the money didnt come in before my unit deployed. so while my wife is sittin on the car for me while in here rotten away im tring to figure out a few things i never understood and figure out where i should go with the car. i just got done building a 03 mazdaspeed protege and i work on helicpoters in the army so im pretty mechanical and can build just about anything just need some stuff figured out. ok i wanted to streetport it and drop either a t35 or 40 on it i dont drag race just a little street race here and there but i want to do like road racing and autocross with it. im lookin gfor around 450ish hp is that a obtainable goal. oh and what is the difference between the primary injectors and the secondaries. that i dont get im used to one injector a cyclinder? lets see what else oh i wanted to drop a apexi power fc i hear from alot of people they are good but also i hear the haltech stand alone is the way to go maybe someone can help me straighten that one out. i was gunna make a custom v mount for it i dont want a front mount becasue im tring to go a little stealthy with it. my plans were to paint it flat black and drop it into the weeds on the rx8 rims that i already got at my house. so i think a v mount would help with my stealth install. i also want to beef the suspension i havnt looked into that much mostly just engine so hope a few people and point me in the right directions

But everytime you uprade your car as in a power adder you need to upgrade the fuel system too.
a.k.a injectors, fuel pump, etc
Im not 100% sure of this but from what i recall the secondaries kick in at 2800 r.p.m
The setup im using right now my F.M.I.C is hidden and nobody can see it.

its 3800 rpm, give or take, and they are there to essentially give your engine more fuel to keep the combustion chamber hot, because the combustion chamber from a rotary is a lot bigger than a piston and requires more fuel to retain optimum temp, that is also why there are two spark plugs per rotor
