New to FC3s turbo'S got a couple of questions!

Hi everybody... actually im an FD guy But ive allways loved fcs and as ive got an fd i thought it was time to buy an fc as a parallel project to my fd

Soooo i just got my hands on a FC off ebay for just 400 usd!

well condition is nothin to brag about... unfortunatly the engine has a "broken seal" according to the seller... and the turbo ist missing+ a few other bits... the seller doesnt know to much about the car or he is pissed for letting it sell for this cheap

(KOUKI Turbo FC'S are very rare in germany and if in good condition sell for well over 4000-5000)

as far as i can see from the pics i guess the AFM is missing also as the whole intake is not there... well what else do you guys see missing in the engine bay???

Ive got a little Auto workshop... im going to repaint the whole car... tidy it up a bit and then get my hands on the engine! do a full rebuild, go for a bigger turbo as theres is no turbo in there... and propably with a fmic... not looking for massive power outputs as ive got my fd pushing well over 600 whp... so i thought that i would have the FC as a daily once its finished!... anyway im gonna pick it up on friday... tell me what u guys think and what else u notice missing

here are the pics

btw. its got only 100 k km on the clock so its like 60 000 miles and its been standing for about 10 years :S ....

Look into powerfc and adaptor kit from banzai. It will eliminate afm and lots of other stuff.

Fan and shroud are missing as well... But you sir got a hell of a deal because you just paid scrap money for a t2!

Ftp's are flash to pass lenses... And are necessary to not look retarded. It's a bummer if you get a car that some one already removed them like a dumbass because the whole bumper needs to be removed to install them.

are u serious??? Why the hell would anyone remove his bumper, to remove the ftp lenses and then install it again without em... haha what an idiot... guess removing the front bumper is gonna be one of the first things on the to do list... anyone know a good source for nice ftp lenses? (that ships to germany)

My girlfriends car didn't have them when she bought the car. Sourced ftp's used locally from a friend. Went to install and was no way to get to the studs with the bumper on... So install waits for the car to someday painted or i have the patience to take off the tons of bumper clips, bolts and screws just to immediately put it all back on again.

I'd check here on the forums first. Make sure you explicitly say the you want it with no broken studs or deep scratches/defects.

Errr... What? You can remove the FTPs while the bumper is still on o_O Just reach under the headlights with them popped and you can get to the 10mm nuts.

I think what he meant was that someone chopped the FTP area out of your front bumper so it doesn't look good anymore

yeiiiiiiiiiiiii just got it delivered ... This Fc IS AWESOME! I will be the second registered owner... car is MY 90 / and first reg. is 97 ... The previous owner is a total D#*khead ... he bought the car in 97 ... blew the engine after just 1 year. installed another engine ... blew it 2 years later again... locked the car up in his backyard and left it there ... maybe hopin it would regret blowing its own engine and come back to life on its own... as Mazda Rotary engines are just pieces of **** and tend to blow once a year at least.... so leaving the rx7 on its own in the backyard he went and bought another fc ... which he tried to destroy quite as fast as the previous one.... and he suceeded... so that ones up for sale right now also as he is pissed by mazda and mazdas horrible unreliable rotary engines... i mean ... WTF IS WRONG WITH U??? I MEAN IF U BLEW 3 ROTARY ENGINES IN A ROW.... maybe its not mazdas fault but yours?! ... well whatever... i gave him 320 € ... and so he left... and i got my Fc ...

CARs interios looks like it just came out of the factory! it looks like BRAND NEW!!! underbody is clean as hell... no rust whatsoever... Exhaust needs 2 be replaced... Bodywork is awesome no dents or anything! no rust ... no nothing just paintfade from the sunlight... will do a repaint anyway this car is a real tresure and im so in love with it ... after my FD its the most awesome buy ever ... oh yeah shocks/springs are like new ... 13 y.o but only have like 2000 miles on em need to replace the bumper though as he fucked it up tryin to make it look like a drift car ... maybe that was part of why he blew the engine so fast -.- ... Engine is missing a couple of parts as mentiond before... airpump was in the boot aswell as the airbox / fan / intakepiping / and some other bits... well its missing the oilpump as i noticed and some valve on the intake .... unidentified yet ^^... Will post some pics tomorrow ... Im glad to officialy be one of u guys now ...
