New FC owner *pics*
Hey guys, been a reader of the boards for quite a while while I was looking for a car, finally found one and thought I'd share...
Its an 87 NA with 150k on the odo, runs excellent, eats corners for breakfast. Currently is in need of some exhaust gaskets and a cat back system (has bonez race pipe and stock mufflers right now, but leaks at both ends of the bonez pipe). Has a few go-fast goodies under the hood (pics coming) and just installed my stereo/speakers/amp/sub last weekend (pics also coming). Took the fugly foot pedal cover thingies off as well. I have wide feet and every time I hit the brake, the corner of my shoe would press down on the accelerator. In the first drive I pulled up to a cross walk and nearly scared the poo out of some old lady. I'm trying to identify the history of the wheels on it as well, look up my post in the suspension section if you're curious.

Very nice man. DEFINATLY use spacers to get your offsets lower...your rims are totally sunken into the wheel wells. Also lower that thing...looks like a 4x4! Have fun with her!

yeah, nice car, and people do that cuz some people have access to whats called in ny, nyspin (for police use only) , which u can run someones plate and find there name, dob, and where they live. someone could come to your house and take your car. another reason is that somepeople make fake plates, and they will prob use ur number and when it gets ran it will come back to your car.

Welcome to the club man!
I like the FC a lot. It is still very nice lookin.
Might I suggest, that after you replace the exhaust system, you get a pair of shocks and springs. The FC's look a lot nicer once lowered a bit
just my 2 cents
enjoy the rex

That neighborhood looks really familiar to me... Are you actually in Seattle or are you in a smaller city near Seattle? I feel like I've been to that neighborhood sometime before.

A friend of mine in the same apartment complex just had his 240sx stolen and stripped, thus the blacked out plates. Maybe its paranoia, I just like to be cautious since I don't have a garage to keep it in atm. I thought the tires looked a bit small in those wheel wells also, but I can replace those later this summer. Engine pics will come this weekend (the bay is in need of cleaning). I'm currently building a 10" ported sub box that will fit in one of the storage hatches. I saw a few other people had attempted the same thing and thought it was a good idea to keep my shiz from being seen and thus stolen. I paid $2500 for the car, which seems a bit more than most people on the forum paid for their cars. Being a clean freak, this was the only car I found that met my picky interior/exterior demands. It came with 17's, upgraded brakes (drilled and slotted rotors and aftermarket pads), some engine goodies (intake, plugs and wires, FD alternator, bonez race pipe, probably more I'm forgetting), and has a subtle look (no home made body kits, big spoilers, sleepy (pointless) headlights, etc.).
