New Cold Air Box's for sale in here
OK for all those who want a cold air box similar to Mariah's but doesn't want to spend $120 bucks for it. I have a guy in a fab shop who can fab up a similar one for around $70. If we order around 10 at a time. He is now making the first one so, I will post up photos of it when it's completed.
It will be made of Aluminum about 1/8" thick. We are not sure if we are going to include some kind of foam around the top or leave it up to you to seal it up the way you would like, but it will be pretty much a bolt on and maybe add the seal and ready to go piece. Our first one will be for an 86 style MAS it will inclose the MAS unlike Mariah's.
So post away if any are interested.

I am working with some one with the later style MAS to make a template for that model as soon as I get the template the 10 orders at a time can include a mix of both templates.
Also I am interested in this, the first one has a spot cut out for the intake snorkel, are most of you still using that or not?
Post up if you are or are not
Thanks

damn , didnt mean to post yet.
yeah you will do a little insulating just by reducing airflow, but while you are at it you should at least wrap the outside with a little automotive insulation.

And I wish everyone would stop glorifying that overpriced thing from Mariah by calling it a cold air box. It's a heat shield, that's all. No outside air feed.
