You are always supposed to properly break the clutch in... either that or you can get ready to pull the tranny again and do it all over soon...

Yeah i ajusted the pedal freeplay and it helped...But i was also looking at the front trans seal.Mazda Trix sells one that comes with the shaft the throwout bearing rides on.I wass going to guy it before i di the swap now i realize it wouldnt have been a bad idea.Well now im saving up for a street ported rebuild prob from rotary resurection soo when that happens im going to pull the tranny out with the engine. And get that seal along with a lightwheight flywheel and streetstrip clutch(that will be broken in).
Thankxs for you guys info it helped alot as always.

you didn't happen to put some type of lubricant on the shaft splines for the clutch disc? if any of you do it can cause this type of problem, the grease flies off and onto the disc surface which can cause it to slip and cause heat spots. also i always resurface the flywheel when i replace a new disc unless it has been resurfaced recently, a new disc needs a clean rough surface to break in properly, sometimes you can get away with a worn in flywheel surface but it is a gamble, heat spots can be unnoticable to the eye but can become a big problem when using a new disc on the surface.
