New CDI box?

I was just browsing through my Summit racing catalog and saw (i guess this is new i've never seen it before) an MSD "SCI" (Sport Comact Ignition) Which claims that it can produce full power sparks at any RPM up to 10,000. It also has CDI circuts. Would this be a better product be better then the MSD 6AL or the Crancams Hi-6 for the rx7 since it makes power at high rpm? Anyone heard of this before?

That Sports Compact Ignition comes in two forms with and with out the rev limiter. This is the same exact box as a 6A and 6AL. They just gave it a different name, painted it silver/gray, and uped the price. The stock RX-7 Ignition is very good I would leave this to the last hop up on your car.

That's what I thought until i saw the price. The SCI (i believe this is w/o rev limiter) is 180 and the 6al is 200. Are you sure they are exactly the same as the 6al?

Is it possible that this maybe the MSD Version of of the hi-6s which is just an ignition amplifier and not a true CDI?
