new to 2gen forum

just saying hi to everyone. i used to have a 1st gen but sold it and i now have a red 86 t2 with quite a few mods. Anbody know what sort of hp this setup would have.

I'm no turbo guy but I'd guess, assuming everything is working okay, you've got about 195-200hp. Welcome to the forum

Hmm 200hp??? Closer to 300hp my guess. All jokes aside about the microtech, it's better than factory. I put down 180kw at the wheels on a stock port series 5 with standard turbo and a dodgy wolf 3d computer, in my Rx2. So with his mods, 300hp wouldn't be out of the question. I'm expecting 300 or more with my setup when i get it sorted.

mdouble: yeah its needs to be tuned first its running to rich and then i need some wider rubber for the back it smokes th 205's on 8psi as it is now

86 t2? I thought they didn't start making the 2nd gen TII until 87. Did you get a later engine or do a turbo conversion? Just wondering...

Anyways, as far as numbers go, I would guess in the 250-300 hp depending on how much boost you are running and how tuned up it is.

I would say 275hp minimum...probably around 325 running a decent amount of boost and properly tuned.
