I'm going to post one more thing.

The point of all this... and about the threat was.. "Not to make negative comments about someone, or someone's questions..." and what not.

I log on my email, get a PM from boost, and it so happens he has negatives towards me. Oh, what can I say? A hypocrite?

Ok..so they still harass him about his taillights, so what? Let them.. Why let them BOTHER you? Furthermore, do not ever PM me again with disrepect and rudeness. I didn't deserve the disrespect, because you don't get any with people on here. Learn to let your ego-trip slide off a bit, and realize this IS the intarnet. :p

I don't like how some people treat others here, but ya know something? Weither it's online or in real life, people get crap from people. That's life. You have to ignore it. But.. to disrespect people because of something, or they're trying to help you out to fix your mistakes and what not, that is uncalled for, and very childish.

Now.. please don't PM me again, until you learn how to speak in a adult manner... and be a little respectful.

Oh, and Keith.. yeah, I know my mouth is somewhat "dirty" ..but when people go off like they know everything, and yadda dadda, just to try to get their respect back yet, disrespect others is complete BS. I didn't mean to sound like a typical bitch but people like him... just tend to light the fuse

~All,

My sincerest appologies for not being around much in the past months. I've been incredibly busy and it has been difficult to find time to browse the forum like I should be, like I used to. I have been unresponsive to PM's and eMail's simply because I have so much to do I don't even think to check them. ...military life is a fun life, well most of the time it is.

I have yet to read the entire thread, it's damn long and I need to get to sleep so I can get up early enough to get to work. I did read about half of it...

If that is anybody's perception of how things have become on this forum then it needs to stop. If multiple people back this person up, then it needs to stop even faster.

If it is indeed a bunch of people simply voicing their opinions, then great. We want that here because it would be boring otherwise. But, if people are getting flamed for ANY reason, I will take the typical actions.

NODE - no more flaming, I've read enough of your posts in this thread.

I will do my best to be around more often. I see my time freeing up so I can relax a bit.

Yeah, that special olympics ad, is rude.

Whoever posted that originally has a serious lack of respect for those less fortunate.

I totally agree that the negativity on this forum is way out of hand. I brought it up before...

Yeah, I just got your PM. Sorry to hear that.

No no no, fun is allowed, duh. Fun at the expense of others is not allowed. I don't care to make this place look anything like the Miata Forums, but at the very least we could all be somewhat polite to each other. The people who are being flamed very well could end up being somebody that can help you out in the future

It is very possible to express your opinion and guide a person "out of the rice" and into the light without insulting and humiliating the person.

...as it is I think it may have gotten bad enough to run off a bunch of the technical guru's, or anybody who really knows their **** when it comes to FC's. I'm seeing a few familiar faces, but I created a very technical question, have a lot of views, and absolutely no replies.

I hate to say this, but I can't rely on this forum for technical information on my car anymore (like I used to). So maybe instead of taking the time to write up that negative, flaming post maybe start learning about your car so I can ask you questions?

damn, i have to agree with everyone on kevins behalf. I (like most people) am not very fortunate with money right now being as young as i am, and kevin went out of his way to accomodate me as much as he could for a full TII swap. I can arguably say that if i need a rebuild, he is the first person i'll call up because of his good business practices. Because he is nice to me now, he will keep my repeat business...and in the REAL world, more than 75% of profits in a business is from repeat customers. Dont say he's worthless and all this other ****. Whens the last time you drove 100 miles to pick up someones car, drive it back to your shop, do the work, and drive it back 100 miles?

Even though im not a very knowledgable person with rotaries yet because i have not had the time to sit down and experience all the problems, I respect beyond doubt many of the "********" you speak of. They're not asses to me because i dont talk **** back to them. Respect those who know more than you.

Now about 'Rice'. Definition: look in Sniper_X's 1000th post to know exactly what im talking about. Rice deserves the **** it has coming to it. It is a poison to the automotive industry, and has no value what-so-ever. Even if its a damn show car, how many show cars have you seen with altezza's, neon underlights, and other useless **** that actually WIN. If your trying to get into import tuner (the home of the cars who lost their identities) Your on your way nicely. I believe that a car can have whatever someone wants done to it as long as it still RETAINS its model look. Why in the HELL would you buy an FC, and do body work so extensively that noone even knows what the hell it is anymore. Why dont you just make a custom Tubeframe car if you want to do wild crazy ****.

its late and i finished my summer classes today...not trying to think to hard

Proof that this forum likes talking trash more than learning and helping -look at how many replies there are in this thread versus the available tech threads right now. I knew this thread would be a helpless bashing, but I stated my point, though few of you got it.

I feel the love...............

(Steps onto Soap Box)

Ok, there are several orientations here.

!. Mod for Show.
- Flashing light sterio head units, lights in the wheel wells, 18 inch chrome wheels.

2. Mod for Go.
- Bigger Turbo's, street port, etc. etc.

3. Mod for Show and Go.
- All of the above

4. Mod to update features we wish were factory.
- Keep it understated. One touch power windows, CD changer wired directly into the factory head unit, T2 retro-fit into Vert (All verts should have been T2), correct all those nasty cold solder joints, etc.

5. Restore to maintain to stock, stock, stock.
-The purest among us that like it just the way it is. But, still correcting those nasty cold solder joints.

Me, I'm a little bit of all of the above.

Lets face it. We do things to our RX7's to reflect who we are, not unlike how we choose the clothes we wear.
Some people dress outragous, some people dress conservative, some people dress with style. Same goes for how we make changes to our cars.

Point is, we are on this Forum because we love our RX7's, not to just discuss performance mods.

We believe the superior engine is a Wankle and that Piston engines are best used for Farming Equipment.

We know that just about anything we are thinking about doing has already been done by someone. So we come here to learn from their experiences.

And, most of all, we come here because this is the BEST DAMN RX7 SITE ON THE WEB!!!!!

So, in the famous words of Rodney King:

"Why can't we all just get along?

(Puts Soap box away)

[Certain RX-7's] do not get ANY respect in any way. Like I said before, this is no longer a RX-7 forum but a POS that I know mainly use to 1) help other poor saps out there and 2) *try* to ask questions or post about my car w/o getting destroyed by *******.
Got any pics and list of mods?

and what do u expect from the internet? most are mature and the other people are true abput the way they feel.

lol jarrod.

I think the start of this thread was about negatively. When we got in the core of the thread, the starter of the thread started PMing users that were younger than him, insulting them, degrading them about their age, etc. That, is not cool. You open a thread like this, be prepared for some critizism. You can't take the heat, don't post.

Period, I didn't like what I saw in my PMs, and neither did 3 other members. Speak your own words

Anyway... that shirt "Ihate ******* and blacks" - is not a cool shirt

****, did I say something to insult you not know it?

Seriously, I think you're taking this a bit too seriously.&nbsp "Online" ends up being reality magnefied a bazillion times - people's personalities are exaggerated, and a lot of things get said online that would never be said in person...usually.&nbsp I think you need to step back, get a grip on the real life and go do something more constructive than to read all these post by these wienies!
