Is that okay-NO, for the same reason that its not okay to say it about anothers car JUST BECAUSE ITS YOUR OPINION. The point is we all have opinions, and CAN all voice them if we want but that doesnt mean we SHOULD all voice them.
For example if I didnt like the wheels in your sig I wouldnt tell you, simply because its my opinion, and I can if I want. I wont tell you that because I respect you, and dont want to disrespect you, simply because its an option. My right is also to wear a shirt that says "I hate ******* and blacks" but I dont because I respect the people I live on Earth with.

There is a LOT of negativity in this forum. There shouldnt be any, because each and every one of us are apart of a "rotary brotherhood" we need to stick together as opposed to chewing someones head off because of little ****. I catch flak about my rex every day, from people who dont even know what a rotary is. This forum is designed as a place where everyone who enjoys and loves RX7's and rotaries can come together to share ideas about the thing we all love, not a place to cut others down and critisize other peoples decisions on how they have modified their cars.

Man, give this a rest, you sound like a stuck record. This is only your opinion (which I happen to agree with), but there's no need to ram it down everybody's throat like it's gospel. C'mon, that's totally unreasonable. By this definition any external mod is rice, in which case you've just insulted most people on this forum. Besides, putting parts from another car onto yours is not emulating it (look it up). If the part looks better, use it. It's all a matter of taste. Clear side markers and front indicators provide a modern look, but racing stripes and big stupid wings look silly. Some mods look godd, other don't.

Node stop bashing your base model. Phone dial's aren't that bad - nicer than pizza cutters in my opinion. And the brakes are good enough for anything that isn't autocross - 4 wheel disc is nothing to scoff at, be it single or 4 piston calipers.

Wanting luxury electronic items in an RX7 is like cheating on your girlfriend - a recipe for (electrical) disaster and a good way to empty your pockets.

You (and me, and alot of other lucky guys) own a sports car pure and simple - no gimmicks, no bells and no whistles. Just a sports car with a good engine, tight handling and classic looks.

The only two things that bother me are when someone asks,'What do you think?", and SOMEONE ELSE jumps your *** for giving an opinion.
Anyone that calls an N/A a 'slow POS'. No, it's not a turbo, but if you think an N/A is slow, YOU DON"T KNOW what slow is. Even 'economy' cars are MUCH faster and better than they used to be. An N/A with a blown rear rotor is still faster than my aircooled automatic VW. And it was a blast to drive! (BTW- with a damaged front end there were ALOT of girls that still thought it was just the cutest, coolest car).

Oh, and 'boost creep' is the guy that has 'NOS" and 'TURBO" stickers on his car.

I work on rx-7s and rebuild rotary engines for a living. what better job can there be? if youve ever had to pay a repair bill on a 7, or checked pricing on a rebuilt rotary engine, you know this line of work is not cheap. It isnt making me rich, but its keeping me up, while I help others out. To me, that's good enough.

failure? well, at least I am not ridiculed and poked at everywhere I go, on the forum and in real life. I have been around the FC3s list for about 4 years now, and on this forum since it started. I do not know everything, I learn something new every day, but I feel I am well respected because I try to help others out and because I am in general honest and realistic. Ask around bud, there arent many people who have dealt with me or talked with me who dont like me...can you say the same?

I see you are making a lot of friends in this very thread...

I've never said much about your car, but Kevin (hypntyz7) is a good guy, and has a loyal following of customers. He has plenty of parts, and fixs our cars (not mine, but just RX-7s in general) for decent prices.

I always liked the color green, and thought maybe that would look good on an FC. But I wouldn't want any normal RX-7 to be confused with your bad impression of a japanese FC.
