Needed for s5 ecu swap?

Hey all, I was wondering what all I need to buy to use a S5 ecu with my a 4 port motor. Since I will be doing a fairly large port I thought that the S5 ECU would be helpful.
I am guessing that I will need to buy a full eninge harness with the OMP, S5 injectors, MAF, and other misc. sensors?

The S4 ecu works fine if you don't want to rev to the stratosphere.

Electronic OMP is expensive and problematic.

You'll also be better off with the S4 intake.

On the other hand a S5 block with an S4 intake, front cover, and ecu would be fun.

The S5 computer is faster processing but I don't think it makes much difference in how the engine runs in the end. Lots of work for little gain IMO.

I will just save up and get a stand alone when I can afford it.

The s5 ecu won't help you much anyway, you'd have better luck just getting an S-AFC, and it'd be cheaper too (not to mention easier) Either save up as you mentioned, or go the s-afc route

Sounds like the better way to go. I know I'd have a microtech right now if I had the coinage.

If you're really crazy you can try the megasquirt, build it yourself, but that's only if you're really insane, maybe like hailers

MS doesn't have spark control so you would either need to go with a distributor or keep the stock AFM so that the stock ecu will know the enigine is running and know what to set the advance at.

However I am planing on running a MS on a gsl-se project this spring.
