Need some help quick

So this morning I went to start up my RX-7 after it's been sitting for about 4 days. It was about 14 degrees out, and I went to turn it over and the car wouldn't start. I pulled the EGI fuse, cranked a few times, put it back in, cranked a few times, and still no start so I gave up. Came home from work when it was about 30 degrees and turned the car over and it started up. The problem was that it had wispy white smoke coming from the mufflers, which makes me think the coolant seals are bad. The thing was, the smell wasn't sweet, it just smelled like the car was running really rich. The only time it does this is when I let it sit for 4 days + and when it's really cold out. I wonder if it's just the injectors leaking?

Also, what size socket are the spark plugs? After not being able to get 10 different sizes on it I gave up. After I get the spark plugs off I'm going to compression test the engine and see what's up. The thing is, after the car is up and running and warm it runs perfectly, so idk what the deal is.

5/8 or 11/16 are the normal spark plug socket sizes.

They only make two sizes of spark plug sockets... where did you find 10 different sizes.

and the condition of the spark plugs will tell if if it is a simple flooded vehicle or a leak.

And remember when starting under freezing, you pump the accell pedal only once and then crank. You are not pumping multiple times or holding (unless the engine is flooded and then you hold all the way done while cranking to clear the flood)

Alright, I'll try those socket sizes then and I'll compare the condition of the spark plugs to what the chart I have says. I'll try doing that with the pedal next time instead of holding it all the way in and see how it goes. Thanks Icemark.

Yeah, if your holding it, it actually cuts the fuel flow on a S5 (making it harder to start) and puts the MOP of full oil flow into the rotors and opens the throttle all the way for max air intake on a S3 and S4.

Sounds good guys, I'll be checking the compression this weekend and see what things look like.
