Exclamation Need some help!!!

Okay guys,
I bought a 87 Turbo II last week. I went to pick it up and it was hard to start but I drove it home 300 miles just fine except for one time when i stopped i had to push it down a hill and pop the clutch.

So I got it home and was having alot of fun with it.

Finally got underneath and found the exhaust completely rusted off. The floor was extremely hot. I washed it and filled all the fluids. All of a sudden I was driving and noticed the temperature gauge shoot up. Then smoke was billowing out of the hood and every where when i was driving. I got home and notice the hose to the overflow tank had come off and was spraying hot coolant vapors. Tried to flush the rad and try better coolant and everything. NOTHING SEEMS TO BE WORKING... I need some help. I dont know what it is. Is a plate cracked or maybe the seals.

RX-7's hate high temps! If you spiked the engine temp and still drove it, you probably fried the internal seals. Rebuild sounds likely.
