Exclamation need quick advice on two error codes

Okay guys, I'm waiting for my puppy car to cool down a little before getting into this stuff, but I have two codes since this morning. Driving along like a normal person and the check engine light begins flashing, does it for about 20 secs with no pattern, quits for about 1 min, flashes two more quick times, quits then does it again while sitting at a stoplight 25miles later. Popping in exhaust at idle coincides with flashing check light. <- this was on the way to work. After work, opened hood, looked at all electrical connections pulled split air pipe away from O2 sensor(not sure how it got so close ), checked codes, let it warm up in parking lot while watching for check light(none at this time), so I went home. Drove home fine, slight poppings at idle every so often nothing else, no check lights either. The two codes are 02 and 12. Ne signal from the CAS and full range throttle something-or-other. I plan to unplug the connectors to both, check for anything amiss and check resistance on the Ne signal. Are there any other things specifically to look for or at while doing this? Also, how much effort would be required to take out the CPU and look for possible corrosion there(don't ask , just answer). Thanks in advance!

Hopefully its an electrical short. Otherwise you have some expensive repairs. Don't be surprised if you have to replace the TPS. Hopefully you won't have to replace the CAS. Just in case, there are 3-4 CAS on ebay most of the time.

This page has a picture for ECU removal:

Thanks dead-man. I think I've seen both of those pages before, but would have taken a long time to find them again myself. I already pulled the plugs to the CAS and checked the resistance and condition of the plug itself, and both were fine. I checked the resistance on the TPS full range and it reads lower on closed throttle and higher on open throttle than the FSM says it should. Is that a big problem? I did this while the engine was mostly cold too though, not sure if it makes a difference? Well, I'll pull the CPU out sometime soon I guess. I can't find any other possible points of interference for these codes yet anyway. With my luck, the CPU is coated in dirt and dust and has begun rusting in bad places from it's past ordeal in a puddle Anyway, thanks for the info!
