1) secondary injectors (check plugs, wiring, and maybe get 'em cleaned)
2) you removed the cat, but did it disintegrate and clog anything behind it?
3) check auxiliary ports operation
4) check fuel filters
5) engine/ECU grounds, top of rear rotor housing
6) check intake air filter for cleanliness

the 5th/6th port actuators, on the right side of the engine, just above the exhaust manifold...dab some grease on the rods, take her out for a spin and run her hard, then check the rods- if they haven't moved (the grease is as you placed it), then the ports are stuck closed, or the air source to the actuators (from exhaust backpressure) is insufficient

yes, that split air pipe is the source for the aux port actuators on a S4...find the small "vacuum" hose that runs from the (if it's there) split air pipe in the lower aft right of the engine compartment, it should be going to a metal line just aft of the rear port actuator...pull it off of the split air pipe "nipple", and connect a 2-3 psi air source to it- the actuators should move (rods will retract into the actuator body)...if they do move, then good, all you have to do now is find an air source to actuate the ports, most guys use the ACV valve or air pump hose for the source...there are LOTS of threads on this subject, do a search...

i did a comp test. the front is at 125 and the rear is at
100! the thing is i have 192K miles on it.
someone had it rebilt im gessing.
but i still have the same problem
power loss at 3500-5500rpm.
but win its cold it runs fine until it warms up then the power loss hapens. its not a stedy power loss but rather
jumpy. the power kinduf goes up and down in that rpm
range.
