need LSD for 86 n/a...costly?

hey guys, im looking to put a Limited Slip Diff in my 86 n/a, any ideas of the cost on a lil project like this and where i would go about getting the parts from? thanks in advance

get a GXL or GTU's. shouldn't be too hard to find a GXL diff. they are fairly common

any NA LSD will fit, as well as the Mazda Miata Torsen ones (although you have pull the whole pumpkin apart and reassemble it with the miata one, rather than bolting in the FC NA one).

I did this in my 86 NA, it started out being just a diff swap, but ended up being a complete 5 lug conversion. 4 piston claipers up front, vented discs all around, and 5 lug 16" wheels.

shouldn't be too hard to find a GXL diff. they are fairly common
and likely to be mostly worn out.. :p

Yes mech they stink. Im at my last nerve with the damn lsds. I have 3 dead s4 lsds. Rebuilding them wouldnt be a problem except for the $30 apiece friction plate/disc. There are 8 in the NA ones. Dont bother swapping them I almost garuntee itll be worn out.

I hasve one from an 88 GXL with 125k on it, LSD seems to work, Ill take $100 plus shipping for it.
