need info on this turbo downpipe
Ok I just got a turbo for my 88 gxl I am going to go ahead and turbocharge my na but there is no place for me to bolt a downpipe no this thing there is only the exaust fan and it looks like I can press something in but I dont know what. any info would be nice thank you.

Say what? What kind of turbo is it? If it's a stock Turbo, there should be a plate bolted to the back of the hotside, and then the 3 studs go in and that's where the downpipe is bolted.

Ok i just found out that there is a discharge flang on the hot side of stock turbos does anyone know if it removable if so does anyone have one or a old screwed up stock turbo they can sell me.

that uses a v-band clamp to secure the downpipe to the turbo. Thats why there is the ring with the lip there instead of bolts. Check out turbonetics or cheapturbo.com they should be able to set you up with a v-band discharge kit so you can have a downpipe custom fabed.
