Anyway, we all know Mazda broke every rule of thumb we've ever devised! Factory sunroofs on GTU-Ss, dealers installed whatevery they saw fit, and plenty of TIIs have steel hoods. Anything with a rule has an exeption. The only one thing I am absolutely certain about is the car I actually owned for 4 years. YMMV.

Not that anyone will care, but here is a picture of my old GTU-S. Of all my RX-7s, it was my favorite and selling it a couple years back was one the worst mistakes of my automotive life.
I sold it to finance the RX-7.5; my 1st gen with a Peripheral Port 13B, Weber 51IDA, 4.88 R&P, braced axle, etc. etc, the tire/tool trailer and an 8,000 mile round trip journey to Florida for one race. Also a cool car, but lacking the social graces of the unflappable, mild-mannered GTU-S.
